Whacks Wax is special because of an additive; the unique powder that gives the wax its color is a substance called Molybdenum. It is used as an additive by some other ski wax companies in their highest-end waxes, which can cost up to 50 cents per gram. The powder eliminates friction and heat, allowing for the smoothest ride. We have incorporated the ingredient into our discount wax to provide the fastest glide at the lowest price.
